Hey Jammers!
Sorry I havn't posted in a while! My moms been using the computer for some very important stuff so I havn't been on AJ for a long while either. This is a homework post. The reason its a homework post is im doing a powerpoint and Im gonna hyperlink this to the presentation as im too lazy to edit on a font thingy-ma-gummy.
Basically, we finished reading The Hound Of The Baskervilles by Sir Auther Connon Doyle so we have to either present the whole story or we could select our favourite part. Im doing something that isn't part of the selection of what we could do, a presentation of what I think of both the film (we watched the 1939 version) and the book. Enjoy this short tale of how Stapleton (read the book for more understanding of whats going on) drowns in the Grimpen Mire. Also, I was listening to music while writing this, and please listen to 'What The Fox Say' By Ylvis! When he starts going Ring-dring-dring-ding-ring-ring-ring I literally burst out laughing!
Running through the fog, Stapleton was clinging onto what hope he had of escaping the moor in the thick brume. The hound was dead, his one shot of owning his ancestral home was withdrawn. He had forgotten about the deadly Grimpen Mire, but he was soon remended as he ran into one lost in a train of thought, his cries of pain were muffled by the thick clouds of fog. Stapleton couldn't see the signpost he and Beryl had stuck in the path, so, stepping in the Mire itself, Stapleton found himself chin-high in the death lauding quagmire and starting drubbing wildly, only making it worse, and sunk to the bottom of the so called bottemless pit, what was only about 5 meters deep, whereas Stapleton was only 6 foot 4. By morning he was long gone, nothing other than Sir Henrys boot was found, but that was found on the path, Sherlock and Watson had thoroughly checked every inch of the Mire.
Hope you enjoy my English homework, my teacher would read this so please no hate comments though I would appreciate your ideas!
